I need help with tangled hair...?

I have thick, fine dark blonde hair. It is straight. I have a problem though. After I shower using "Garnier conditioner for dry and damaged hair", I can't seem to get the tangles out when i try to comb my hair (of course, I let my hair dry before combing). I am afraid if I comb through the tangles my hair will be damaged. I don't have split ends right now but they seem to appear after I comb through tangles. What is a good way to counter this? Are there any products I can use to make my hair more easy to comb through WITHOUT damaging my hair (I only have problems combing through the hair in the back, not the front)? Information and Advice is greatly appreciated.

I used to have the same problem my hair is really long and the only thing that comes close to helping me is frizz-ease the leave in fortifying spray step 2. Without it I would be pulling notes out for hours.

recently my hair, which is medium thickness and very curly, has become very tangled. i started using Matrix products and it has helped quite a bit, i also recommend Redken. get the kind for your hair type. i notice brushing my dry hair before i get in the shower helps a whole lot.

I cant stand Garnier! it made my hair tangle worse!

well straighten your hair, if your hair is curly. cuz when you straighten it it actually makes it easier to brush.

Have you thought about using another brand? I never brush my hair (and never have to) when I use Redken shampoo and Redken conditioner, both for damaged hair. I used to always have horrible tangles, until I started using Redken.

i am from a interracial marriage i have naturally curly hair

i used that product also and i had to stop using it because it made my hair tangled, before that my hair was manageable

if you want to comb through a tangle start from the ends then work up towards the roots and then you can comb it down once you comb out the tangles

once i stopped using the garnier my hair was much better

conditioner really helps. I use it every day and it makes your hair shiny and smooth. Any brand works (herbal essences smells the best) herbal essences has conditioner for curly, tangled hair. you can get it anywhere-target,longs, etc

Those conditioners for damaged hair only damage your hair more.

I used herbal essences conditioner for dry dmaged coloured hair and not only did I end up smelling like grandma, but my hair was tangled, dryer than before, and frizzy.

The best way to treat dry damaged hair is with rinse-out and leave-in hair moisturisers.

There are a few ways to counter your problem.

1. Use a hair moisturising product

2. Use your current conditioner once then condition again with a conditioner that detangles

3. Spray a leave-in detangler + shine product into your hair.

Straighten your hair and cut off the tips of your hair (not a lot). And try a different shampoo %26amp; conditioner (like Dove or Pantene or something).

I need help with tangled hair...?

well sometimes, when people have tangled hair, they just have tangled hair and theres nothing anyone can rlly do about it. but there are some things that will make it softer and easier to comb.

first, after shampooing, use a deep conditioner, and lather it into your [wet] hair. while the deep condition is in your hair, comb it (with the conditioner in your hair). and then once all the tangles are out, wash out the conditioner.

this will definitely make your hair smoother, and softer and most importantly, less tangley! lol.

-but make sure you only do this once or twice a week, NOT everyday.

hope i helped =)

I have the same problem. My hair ends up tangled and rough to comb out after I shower. But I found the best thing to use. It's called "Proclaim Spray Glosser" with Aloe and Natural Oils. Spray it all over your hair after you shower and then comb it out. It goes a lot smoother. You can buy it at Sally's Beauty Supplies or try Jewel %26amp; Walgreens. It's not expensive either. It's under $10

Also try to run your fingers through your hair when your conditioning it in the shower.
