negatively charged? how about the comb? explain.

When you comb your hair, you transfer electrons from your hair into the comb. is your hair then positively or?

An electron holds a 1/4 negative charge. As a result, when electrons are transferred to the comb the comb has a negative charge (more electrons) and the hair is positivly charged (the protons in the nucleus are postivly charged, and no longer have electrons to balance them out).

Two Hydrogen atoms are walking down the street. One says to the other "I think I lost my electron". The other says, "Are you sure?", to which the first atom replies "Yes, I'm positive".
