Why is my hair falling out?

I am black African American. I perm my hair for about maybe 1/half year.I use Soft and Beautiful perm and that is the only perm i use because i do not trust other perm and it is good.I use the perm that is normal.I take care of my hair and wash it and grease it also. I always had beautiful hair with or without the perm. My hair reach up to my shoulders and i have a lot of hair. Not so long but a lot.My hair is just like Marilyn Monroe hair or Shirley Temple.I notice about for 2 month that every time i comb my hair a lot of hair been coming out of the comb. Every time i comb my hair i have more than a hand full of hair. It been falling out in December of 07 till January 08. Is it the cold weather because when i go outside i do not wear a hat. I also notice that i been scratching my hair a lot too for about 2 month and i do have long nails.Why is my hair falling out. I have never in my sixteen years old life dye my hair and i do not comb my hair everyday.What is going out?what can i do?
