Why can't a woman who cuts hair notice how a guy's hair is combed when he walks in?

Why can't she cut it like he requests and then comb it back simalarly to how it was before?

you seriously should consider changing hairdressers.t a good hairdresser will listen to his/her client, work on whats the best look for you but ultimatley its the clients call on how they want their hair done and the stylist should respect that ,

why don't you just whip it out, I'm sure she will be so distracted and not even pay attention to your hair.

your hairdresser doesnt care what your hair looks like and how you like it, u need a new one.

its because if she cuts your hair then your hair will be lessen and it would not be the same anymore before you go in that salon..I suggest tell her what you really wanted, explain everything like you want to have cut your hair but you want it look like the same, you just want to trim it.And before the cutting session begin show to her your hair before it has been cut, so she could make what you really want. Don't be shy to say your wants, you pay her to make you feel good about your hair, then she should make it possible for you to be happy, and not irritated.

this made me laugh cuz my man is the same way!He just got so mad about that the other day! He leaves his hair a little longer on top, so his hairsdresser ALWAYS tries to comb it up like spikey and he hates it! Hes like lady I am 30 I dont spike my hair! hahaha and it's every single time! His hair lady knows him now for like 8 years, cuts his kids' hair, knows his whole life. But continues to try and spike his hair hahaha I don't get it.

Because you have not made it "such a point" with her to call her to take notice and return your hair to its requested side and direction or she truly could care less as to whether you return to her chair.

its not that we don't cut and style it like you request we just think it will look better the way do it. we are trained professionals you know. we know what hair style fits certain face shapes and such, and dude if your trying to do the come over thing that a big no no!

quit going to a hair stylist and go find a barber. if you have never been to a barber, ALWAYS got to the guy whose chair is the furthest from the door. he is the most experienced. a barber is also about $10. vs $20-$40 for a salon. so you can afford to go every 2 weeks. if you really want to be pampered, find a place that has a shoe shine guy too. get a shave, shampoo, haircut, and shoeshine. a very relaxing experience!

it might have been so long since your last cut that it has to be combed differently to deal with the length.

you could be looking for something different today.

maybe it got messed up outside in the wind and it doesn't look combed.

i ask questions and have the client participate.

do you like what you have now? are you looking for a change? show me how you comb or brush your hair when you get out of the shower. do you blow dry? use a comb or brush to blow dry? does your dryer have a long or short snout? what does it do after an hour of being dry? do you like that or would you like it to be different? show me how you blow dry.

you probably wouldn't like me or mine either, because i involve you, too.

we can't all be expected to read your mind. open your mouth and speak up.
