someone told me to put hair spray in and back comb it.



it needs to be big but i want it to look cute too because its homecoming week and it will be "tiger day" that day.

These answers are good but my advise is to back comb the roots only otherwise your hair will look like a rats nest. There is a comb that is used specifically for this technique. It looks like a half comb half pic. The comb is used to backcomb, the pic is used to smooth the ratty looking parts.

Tease it, and use lots of hairspray. Look up hairstyles for the 1950s and 1960s. Big brushes and lots of product!

Usually in order to get 'big hair', you can do like your friend said and put some hairspray in it.



I would suggest holding your head upside down and applying hairspray, then flipping back up and backcombing (or teasing) the hair to make it big. Don't do this too much, however, because it can damage your hair and make it very tangled.



To get it out, you should take a wide-toothed comb with you into the shower and brush while washing.

buy some valumeizing hair shampoo and conditioner BIG SEXY HAIR works really well you can get it at walmart in the salon and get some aussie instant freez hair spray to get it to stay in place,( it works great fo big up do's with poofs)
