It's better to brush your hair because it puts less stress on your hair and scalp than combs do because brushes tend to detangle and such, better than combs. If combs don't detangle that well, you'll be really pulling at your hair and scalp and that can damage your hair, plus it's time consuming. I used a comb in the past a few times, and it took me forever to detangle my hair. I have fine hair, so I use the Goody Ouchless brush that's one piece, snagless, and retractable. It's great for fine hair and detangling and it doesn't break easily if you get a knot in your hair and it's necessary to pull a little bit at your hair to get it out because there is no separate handle piece, it's all one piece. My old brush broke because I put a little more stress on it when I was getting a knot out and it was a two piece. What I mean by two piece is that the handle and brush part are made separately and there's obviously a line of separation between them like the handle was inserted in the brush and probably just seal off with plastic to make it look like all one piece with the matching colors or whatever. But if it's one piece its like one molded piece without any line around the top of the handle. Hope this helps =)!!
Is it better to brush or comb your hair?
When its wet, its better to comb it, so you don't stretch your hair out.
With regular brushes when its wet, its stretches your hair out, and breaks it.
When its dry, both work good.

Its better to pick through it first with a pick and then brush through it! This will cause less hair to fall out and less breakage so you won't have little fly aways!

I think It's Better To Comb Your hair So that if It Has Tangles You can get them out. Then you should brush your hair afterwards.

Use a widely-toothed comb on wet/damp hair, but use a brush on dry hair. I don't think there's any reason to not use a comb on dry hair, but I prefer brushes.
